Granite Construction Incorporated

We were originally incorporated in 1922 as Granite Construction Company. In 1990, Granite Construction Incorporated was incorporated in Delaware as the holding company for Granite Construction Company and its wholly owned subsidiaries. Unless otherwise indicated, the terms we, us, our, Company and Granite refer to Granite Construction Incorporated and its consolidated subsidiaries. We are one of the largest heavy civil construction contractors in the United States. We operate nationwide, serving both public and private sector clients. Within the public sector, we primarily concentrate on infrastructure projects, including the construction of roads, highways, bridges, dams, tunnels, canals, mass transit facilities and airport infrastructure. Within the private sector, we perform site preparation and infrastructure services for residential development, commercial and industrial buildings, plants and other facilities.
